Melissa-Harville_LebronIn this episode I will be joined by Melissa Harville-LeBron, the first African American woman to own a developmental racing team in NASCAR’s Whelen All-American Series, Division 1; E2 Northeast Motorsports, which is also the first multi-cultural sibling NASCAR team. A consummate business woman, Melissa, is the Founder and CEO of W.M. Stone Enterprises, Inc., the parent company of a total of three businesses of which she owns.  She is a determined and dedicated single mother of 7 and a native of Staten Island, NY. During the interview, Melissa will talk about some of the people and experiences that have made her the woman she is today, like her work as a corrections officer at Rikers Island, being mentored by lifetime friend and legendary hip hop DJ, Red Alert, as she pursued a career in the entertainment industry,  or how her introduction to producer Jay Ellis, solidified her drive to one day be a boss. Melissa will discuss the challenge of living with asthma, and the decision she made to take control of her health and her destiny.  She will demonstrate how faith, determination, and hard work helped her to achieve the seemingly impossible.
