WHY SHOULD I FLATTEN MY STOMACH?

You may ask “why should I flatten my stomach?  I look good just as I am.  So what if I can’t see my belt buckle or my shoes unless I suck in my gut.  I’m not the only one with this problem. My spouse will love me even with a fat stomach.”  While it may be true that your wife will love you in spite of your fat stomach but the question is will she want to make love to you?  Only she knows the answer to that question.  The same applies to women who think their husband will love them in spite of their fat stomach.

There are many reasons why you should flatten your stomach.  Besides the more obvious reason that you would look better, the most important one is for your health.  There are two types of stomach fat: Subcutaneous and Visceral.  Subcutaneous fat is the noticeable layer of fat that lies just below the skin. You can pinch your subcutaneous fat. It’s the type of body fat that makes us look softer in appearance.

Visceral fat is the worst type of fat. It is located beneath the muscles and typically surrounds your vital organs. Visceral fat is metabolized by the liver, which turns it into blood cholesterol and can lead to significant health risks. If you have visceral fat you are at greater risk for many chronic diseases.

Where do Most Diseases Start?

Did you know that most diseases originate in the stomach?  A fat stomach is usually a sign that you’re having digestion problems and you are not eliminating properly.  Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don’t have at least 2 to 3 bowel movements per day, you are already walking your way toward disease.  Have you noticed what happens after babies eat?  They eliminate.  It’s the same in the animal kingdom.  The human body has not changed very much in the past several thousand years but what has changed is our diet. All the refined sugar, white flour, hormones and meats we constantly ingest constitute an assault on our bodies. We are continuously violating our bodies by eating terrible foods.

Colon Cancer and it’s Connection to a Flat Stomach

There is a reason why colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. All congestion and toxins must be removed from the body and it must begin with cleansing of the colon. One of the most frequent bowel problems that people experience today is constipation. A constipated system is one in which the transition time of toxic wastes is slow. The longer the “transit time,” the longer the toxic waste matter sits in our bowel, which allows it to putrefy, ferment and possibly be reabsorbed. The longer your body is exposed to putrefying food in your intestines, the greater the risk of developing disease. If you’re having infrequent bowel movements you’re harboring a potentially fertile breeding ground for serious diseases. Infrequent or poor quality bowel movements over an extended period of time can be very hazardous to your health.

This, my friend, is the reason why you should have a flat stomach.  It’s all about your health.  While it is a fact that we are living longer, it is also a fact that our quality of life is getting worse.  How many people you know in their 30s, 40s and 50s are taken pills for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, and other chronic diseases?  Most of these problems can be eliminated when you change your diet and learn how to flatten your stomach.

Obesity In Children

One-third of the children in America are either overweight or obese and one out three children born since 2000 will end up with diabetes and guess where these problems begin?  Yes, you guessed it, in the stomach.  Your children may not do what you tell them to do some of the time, but they will do what they see their parents do most of the time.  If you’re not eating healthy, don’t expect your children to eat healthy.

Making changes to your daily meals and exercising will not only do you some good but will instill proper eating and exercise habits in your children that are sure to last a life time.

Alkaline & Acidic Connection to Optimum Health

Our bodies are slightly alkaline at about 7.3- 7.5 on the PH (Potential Hydrogen) scale. 7 is neutral, & anything below 7 is acidic. When our bodies become very acidic the red & white blood cells are not getting enough oxygen, this is a perfect environment as a breeding ground for inflammation (DISEASE), compared to when our body is in a slightly alkaline state, our bodies will thrive with energy and sickness will be reduced. We are not getting enough fruits and veggies in our diet to keep us in a perfect environment. Once you decide to add more alkalizing foods to your diet you will notice a vast improvement in a short space of time. In my book I explain the difference between alkaline and acidic foods in more detail.  Obesity and chronic diseases are basically eradicated when you eat a more alkalized diet.
