A Christmas Message of Health, Hope, and Grace

As Christmas approaches in just a few days, I wanted to take a moment to reach out from my heart to yours.

This season is about so much more than gifts, decorations, and full calendars. It’s a time of reflection, gratitude, love, and renewal—a reminder that even in the busiest moments of life, we are called to slow down, reconnect, and care for one another.

I am deeply thankful for you. Whether you’ve joined one of our programs, followed the Six Weeks to Fitness podcast, supported Body Sculpt of New York’s mission, or simply stayed connected along the way, you are part of this family—and I don’t take that lightly.

Christmas celebrations often come with rich foods, sweet treats, late nights, and packed schedules. And that’s okay. This is not a season for guilt or self-criticism. It’s a season for grace—toward others and toward yourself.

As you move into Christmas week, here are a few gentle reminders to help you protect your health, energy, and peace while still enjoying the holiday:

  • Eat with awareness, not restriction. Enjoy your favorite foods, but balance them with nourishing choices that help your body feel good.
  • Stay hydrated. Drinking water throughout the day helps with digestion, energy, and managing sugar cravings.
  • Keep moving—joyfully. A short walk, stretching, dancing to Christmas music, or a quick workout can lift your mood and clear your mind.
  • Rest when your body asks for it. Sleep is a gift. Don’t underestimate its power during this busy season.
  • Protect your peace. Step away from stress when you need to. Breathe. Pray. Reflect. Your mental and spiritual health matter deeply.

This time of year can also bring strong sugar cravings—and if that’s something you struggle with, please know you’re not alone. Awareness is the first step, and small, intentional choices can make a big difference, even during the holidays.

Some of you may recall, I interviewed Keri Watkins-Webb to discuss how to break sugar cravings. It was a very powerful and informative interview. You can watch it below when you have some time.

Most importantly, remember this: your health journey doesn’t pause because it’s Christmas. It also doesn’t require perfection. Every loving choice you make for your body—no matter how small—counts.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ, may this season remind us of renewal, hope, and new beginnings. May your heart be light, your spirit be strengthened, and your body treated with the care it deserves.

From my family at Six Weeks to Fitness and Body Sculpt of New York to yours, I wish you a blessed, peaceful, and joyful Christmas. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. I believe in you, and I look forward to continuing this walk together—through the holidays and into a healthy, purpose-filled new year.

With gratitude and love,

Vince Ferguson
