Lazar Angelov is a Bulgarian professional bodybuilder, who went from pro basketball into the army, and after the army, bodybuilding. Angelov has had his up and downs in training, but one thing remained, and that was his love for training and keeping fit.
You are What You Eat
It’s common knowledge today, that it’s what you put in your mouth that will determine how you look and feel. Lazar took it further and stated what we as trainers and workout enthusiasts knew all along. If you really want well-defined abs, stop eating crap.
When I first heard this quote from Lazar, I thought to myself, what a bold but true statement to make. Lazar didn’t pull any punches on that one. We’ve all heard, “a flat stomach isn’t made in the gym, it’s made in the kitchen.” In other words, if you want to flatten your abs or even see definition around your midsection, no amount of working out will get you there. You are going to have to eat healthy nutrient-rich foods.
We don’t put it as bluntly and directly as Lazar, but we try to get the same exact message across. Hopefully, you too will stop eating crap, as Lazar so eloquently put it.
All Diseases begin in the Gut
