How I survived Alcoholism, Abuse, Absenteeism and 5 Miscarriages, Episode #136 Interview with Constance Jones, Philanthropist, Author

Constance Jones is a San Diego native, philanthropist, author, and wife.  During her prime fertility years, Constance experienced not one, not two, but five miscarriages. 

Growing up in San Diego

Constance will take us on a journey of her childhood growing up in San Diego.  She was one of 9 children.  They battled the three demons in her household: alcohol, abuse, and absenteeism.  Constance recalls growing up in a two-bedroom apartment with her eight siblings.  Her father was an alcoholic and absent most of the time, but also abusive to her mother.

The heartbreak of depression and miscarriages

Constance survives the heartbreak of 5 miscarriages, depression, and bad relationships.  As a result of these heartbreaks, she has risen to become an influential philanthropist, advocate, and loving wife.

My interview with Constance was very inspiring. She is a powerful and exceptional woman.  How many of us can go through depression, abuse, alcoholism, and five miscarriages?  Constance, with the help of her supportive husband, Claude, co-founded Elevate Foundation.  The purpose of the Elevate Foundation is to help rebuild communities, uplift individuals, and inspire others to do the same.
