QUOTE OF THE WEEK- SYLVESTER STALLONE

What about you? Do you have what it takes to go one more round, or have you given up on achieving your fitness goals? No one ever said it would be easy, but they did say, it would be worth it!

It’s usually when you are about to give up, that your breakthrough happens. Maybe you have to go one more round in this game called life before you can attain your goals. You might have to get up earlier than most to get your exercise in; you might have to cut back on bread and other refined carbs that you enjoy to realize your goals. You may have to separate yourself from negative friends and family members, who do not support your goals and desires. Whatever it takes you must not give up. The only people who lose are those who give up too soon. It is said that a “winner never quits, and a quitter never wins.” Are you a quitter? I didn’t think so. Most of us are so close to our goals that we can taste it, but what separates us from the successful men and women who succeed in going after their goals, are the ones who persist and persevere even in the most difficult or challenging times. I attribute it to one thing, belief! They believe they can achieve their goals, and they know their why! They know why achieving their goals is important to them.

Do you remember watching the first Rocky movie, where Sylvester Stallone played a small-time Philadelphia boxer who receives a rare chance to fight the world heavyweight champion in a bout in which he strives to go the distance for his self-respect. No one gave Rocky a chance to defeat the reigning world heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, played by Carl Weathers, but he did, against all odds, he persisted, kept going and persevered at the time when most people would have given up. He had one more round in him and he didn’t give up, he remembered his Why and that kept him going.

What about you? Are you ready to give up and throw in the towel, or will you be like Rocky and give it one more round?

The world is waiting for your decision.
